The Compeer San Diego / Partnership for Chances (later referred to as P4C) Web site is a
complimentary information service provided by P4C as a convenience
to users, with the express condition that users agree to be bound
by the terms and conditions of this User Agreement. P4C reserves the
right to change the User Agreement terms and conditions at any time,
and you must consult the most recent version of this User Agreement
each time that you visit our Web site. Use of the P4C Web site constitutes
your acceptance of the terms and conditions included below.
Limitation of Liability
You agree that you will hold harmless P4C and its officers, directors,
employees, and volunteers from all claims arising out of or related
to your access or use of, or your inability to access or use, this
Web site or the information contained in this Web site or other Web
sites to which it is linked. You also agree that P4C or the contributors
of information to this Web site shall NOT be liable to you or anyone
else for any decision made or action taken by you in reliance on information
provided on the P4C web site or for any consequential, special or

in whole or in part in any manner without P4C's prior permission,
except that the user may make such temporary copies in a single computer's
RAM and hard drive cache as are necessary to browse the Web site,
and the user may make one permanent printout of each page of the Web
site to be used by the user for personal and noncommercial uses which
do not harm the reputation of P4C.

The P4C logo is registered (pending) service marks of P4C.
Jurisdiction
This Web site (excluding linked sites) is controlled by P4C, which
is headquartered in Fallbrook, California, in the United States of
America. It can be accessed from all 50 states, as well as from other
locations around the world. Each of these locations have laws that
may differ from those of California. Therefore, by accessing this
Web site both you and P4C agree that the statutes and laws of the
California, without regard to principles of conflicts of law in California
or elsewhere, shall apply to all matters arising from or relating
to use of this Web site. You and P4C also agree and hereby submit
to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the state and/or
federal courts located closest in proximity to the P4C Main Office
in Fallbrook, California, should any matter arise related to P4C.
Conduct
You agree that you are prohibited from using this site to commit fraudulent
activities, violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation. Furthermore,
no communications passing through this site may be defamatory, libelous,
unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing, obscene or contain
any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or other
computer programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally
interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system,
data or personal information. P4C will take immediate action to prevent
violators of this policy from using our site.
Linking Information
P4C has a Policy for Web Site Links. You agree to review the P4C policy
on links before either using the Web site and/or using the links provided
by P4C on this Web site.

Policy for Web Site Links
Section 1: Oversight:
1.1. P4C includes links on its public Web site as a convenience
to visitors. Inclusion as a link on the P4C Web site is bound by
the criteria and policies contained in this document.
1.2. P4C assumes no responsibility for the content, claims, representations,
or accuracy of the material contained in the Web link sites. P4C
does not endorse the content of the sites or the organizations sponsoring
the Web sites.
1.3. P4C does not accept payment for links from the P4C Web site,
other than paid sponsorship of the Web site by non-vested interests.
1.4. Oversight of the content of the P4C Web site and application
of all policies is the responsibility of the Web Site Management
Committee.
1.4.1. Page Editors who wish to include links will comply with all
P4C policies and criteria.
1.4.2. Each link will have an "owner," a Page Editor who
has agreed to have the link made from his/her section of the Web
site.
1.5. All links from the P4C Web site will be monitored and reviewed
by P4C Web site page editors annually.
1.6. P4C reserves the right to eliminate any link, with or without
cause.
1.7 Approved links will be posted so that a separate browser window
will be opened and the P4C Web site will remain accessible.
Section 2: Criteria:
2.1. All linked sites must provide information of potential interest
and use to P4C members.
2.2. All linked sites are encouraged to provide a reciprocal link
to the P4C Web site home page at www.P4C.org.
2.3. Any individual or organization requesting a link from the P4C
Web site must submit a formal application for consideration and
agree to the terms and conditions contained therein.
2.3.1. Individuals or organizations submitting a formal application
will be subject to the following criteria:
2.3.1.1. An automated expiration date 12 months from first posting
and annually thereafter;
2.3.1.2. Authors/owners will be automatically notified when expiration
is approaching and asked to reapply; and
2.3.1.3. Failure to reapply may result in the discontinuance of
the link.
2.3.2. Sites created by individuals must meet the following minimum
conditions to be considered for a link from P4C:
2.3.2.1. The author/creator is a P4C member;
2.3.2.2. References and sources for all content are listed clearly,
and all relevant copyright information is noted;
2.3.2.3. Web site "ownership" is prominently and fully
disclosed, as is any sponsorship, advertising, underwriting, commercial
funding arrangements, supports, or potential conflicts of interest;
and
2.3.2.4. Dates that contents are posted and updated are indicated.
2.3.2.5 "Individual" Web sites will be considered for
linkage only in the categories of Support: Consumer and Support:
Family.
Section 3: Linking Constituencies:
All linked sites must adhere to the criteria outlined above and
fall into at least one of these categories:
3.1. State Organizations: All chartered P4C state organizations
may have a link on the P4C Web site and are not required to submit
formal application.
3.2. Local Affiliates: All local P4C affiliates in good standing
may have a link on the P4C Web site and are not required to submit
formal application.
3.3. Supporting Organizations: P4C has several supporting organizations
and thematic centers of activity whose purposes support the mission
of P4C. These organizations may have a link on the P4C Web site
and are not required to submit formal application.
3.4. Funders: P4C is grateful to the many individuals, foundations,
corporations and organizations that support us financially. These
organizations may have a link on the P4C Web site. P4C also accepts
paid sponsorship of the Web site by non-vested interest organizations.
3.4.1. Links to vested interest organizations must be to public
education Web pages and not to product promotion sites.
3.5. Colleague Organizations: P4C works with numerous national organizations
on issues related to mental illness and disability rights. Organizations
with which P4C has worked or now works may have a link on the P4C
Web site.
3.5.1. P4C will not link to individual service or treatment providers,
but may link to national or umbrella organizations of providers.
3.6. State and Federal Offices: P4C may link to any state or federal
site whose functions may be of assistance or interest to P4C members.
State and federal offices are not required to provide reciprocal
links to the P4C site and are not required to submit a formal application
for consideration as a link.
3.7. Other Related Sites: P4C may link to other, related sites whose
content, in the judgment of the P4C Web site Management Committee,
may be of interest or use to P4C members.
